Specialized Training Needs for Information Security
Information Security Business Unit, is seeking more robust and specialized training in the information security field. Currently, for its standard training needs, the Infosec Business Unit’s current training tool is Pluralsight, but the business unit has a need to seek additional training as followed:
Specific Training Areas
FHLBSF Information Security BU is looking for specialization, emerging, and deep-dive training in the areas of Informational Security Operations, Architect, and Engineering.
Also, the BU would like for the Supplier and training to be as such that the Supplier would have a regularly updated & robust catalog of applicable training with flexible use license(s) for which any given combination of the entire InfoSec team could use throughout the contractual relationship. The director would like to avoid having to routinely search for such Supplier(s) having the most robust & updated catalog and training, on an annual basis.
FHLBank SF InfoSec BU Team Dynamics
The InfoSec Business Unit is currently made up of 17 Individuals for which 8 will be non-specialized, 6 specialized (flexibility with licenses for this group sought), and 3 management.
If you are the Supplier chosen to address this BU’s needs, Corporate Procurement would be interested in receiving, within 7 to 10 days, information, pricing, quote, and or proposal for which to establish a 1, 3, and 5-year contractual business relationship

Business Continuity Management - Maturity Assessment/Consulting Services
Description: The consultant’s services will cover operations of Business Continuity Management at FHLBSF. The exercise will be centrally managed by Corporate Workplace Services. Consultant will be asked to:
- Identify gaps, areas of improvement and give recommendations on FHLBSF’s Business Continuity Management Framework.
- Assess the current maturity status of FHLBSF’s Business Continuity against the relevant portions of the latest version of ISO 22301, FHLBSF principles and regulations, CAL OSHA, and industry best practices.
- Conduct a Bank-wide Program Assessment

Marketing Agency
Description: The Bank will be conducting an RFP for a marketing agency of record, business to be awarded in November or December 2024, with work to begin January 1, 2025. Tasks for the supplier may include, but are not limited to:
- Partnering with the Bank to develop marketing strategy
- Annual Report/Impact Report design and development
- Promotion of new and existing Community Programs to all stakeholders
- Basic formatting and design creative services
- Building thought-leadership campaigns, including a strong focus on content for the Bank’s external website
- Provide event/webinar strategy and promotion as needed
- Assist with social media/digital content and strategy to drive increased engagement
- Support internal/external marketing communications strategies and execution as directed by Bank leadership
- Deploy a member business-focused content strategy including development, distribution, and amplification recommendations, to include but not limited to: bylines, infographics, blog posts, white papers, web content, social media content, etc.

Executive Coaching
Description: The Bank seeks a multi-year relationship with an experienced Executive Coaching and Leadership Development firm to assist with coaching and developing leaders, their teams, and other high-potential employees. This includes (but is not limited to) providing executive coaching services to our leadership team members on a one-on-one basis, developing teams or cohorts of employees, assessing strengths and gaps of employees to be coached or developed, creating development plans, and tracking progress against those development plans.
Timeline: RFP issued July/August 2024, award October/Nobember 2024, work begins January 1, 2025.
