The sponsors will conduct a financial education radio campaign by collaboratively producing five live interactive talk shows and educational and promotional messages targeting low-income rural families in California's major agricultural regions. The programs will be broadcast throughout the Imperial, Salinas, and San Joaquin valleys in several languages by a network of public FM stations, and will be made available nationally by satellite. Printed materials will be made available through community-based organizations in each targeted community. The grant will fund curriculum and material development, program development, production, and air time.
