Title: Collateral Operations Analyst
Salary Range: Salary commensurate with experience.
Purpose
Provide programming and analytical support required for the processing of customer loan files. Assist customers and vendors with technical questions regarding files and with resolution of problems. Provide operational assistance as needed in the Collateral Operations department.
Major Accountabilities
Develop customized loan file formats

For each customer, develop program to map data fields to the CMS system.

Develop test script, coordinate, and conduct user acceptance testing with each customer to validate data integrity.

As customers modify files, adjust program to correctly process their files.

Support changes to the Bank’s member data requirements.
Analyze customer files
- As files are received, pre-process files against the custom map and analyze data to ensure accuracy of file.
- Assist customers with file corrections.
Provide on-going support for member’s data files and maintenance of data maps.
- Provide assistance to other Bank departments that may require data from members.
Department Functions
Skills/Knowledge

College degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting fields preferred.

Advanced knowledge of the various mortgage and security types, including pricing requirements.

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients and industry professionals.

Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks, maintaining a very high degree of accuracy and customer service while meeting stringent deadlines.

Strong research, accounting, and reconciliation skills.

Advanced PC skills; familiarity with LAN based computers systems and the ability to utilize DOS, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Infomaker. Ability to master internal systems.

Advanced knowledge of MS Windows based applications. Knowledge of mainframe/Client/Server, SQL, and query tools preferred but not required.
